Sammi Kinghorn is on a hill farm in Cumbria for the first of three visits in 2023, catching up with a dedicated young farmer, 16-year-old Katie. It’s all go from sunrise to sunset as Katie and Sammi get immersed into all the everyday tasks and a surprise birth. This year, Katie is kept occupied not just by the farm, but also by GCSEs. Sammi will discover how this motivated young lady manages to balance her education and care for her animals.
