Information

The lives and destinies of two young Afghani women, Raha and Marwa, are permanently altered when the Taliban retakes control in 2021. Raha elected to remain in Kabul, where she is confronted with the regime’s violence, the abrupt change in what regular people, particularly women, are allowed to do, and the country’s slow descent into disaster. Marwa flees with her husband just in time and ends herself in an Abu Dhabi refugee camp, waiting to be welcomed to another nation.
