Ainsley's Good Mood Food 7 May 2022: Season 2 Episode 5 on ITV 11

Season 2, Episode 5 – Ainsley pays tribute to humble grains and pulses, making the most of their versatility and taste in all his dishes. First up is a sumptuous summery dish of pan-seared sardines with thyme-roasted vine tomato and bread salad.

Ainsley enjoys a visit to Roam, a business making the most out of grains with a brewery and bakery all in one site. He meets Vicky to find out what’s had locals queuing around the corner and has a quick pint whilst he’s there. Inspired by the delicious cinnamon buns, Ainsley bakes a perfect afternoon treat with his Dorset apple cake.

Joseph travels to Yorkshire to meet farmer Adam who is delving into making dips. Whilst there he knocks up a tasty treat taking for Adam, drawing on the flavours of his dips. Ainsley makes a salad full of grains and delicious veg.

For the final dish of the show, Ainsley is back in his beach kitchen where he makes a dish bursting with flavour, tikka kebabs served with a fresh chickpea salad.
