Sally Wainwright Season 2: Information

Sally Wainwright, award-winning television dramatist and director, talks to John Wilson about her early cultural influences. She rose to prominence with her suburban comedy drama At Home With The Braithwaites, which she wrote after learning the craft while working on Coronation Street. Her works are mainly set in the north of England, such as Last Tango in Halifax and Gentleman Jack, a 19th century historical series.
