Dragons’ Den 6 January 2022: Thursday on BBC One

Series 19 Episode 1 of 14 – Dragons’ Den is back in business, with a brand new fire-breather taking one of the five famous chairs.

The youngest-ever Dragon, Steven Bartlett, certainly comes out fighting in his first episode, alongside familiar faces Peter Jones, Deborah Meaden, Touker Suleyman and Sara Davies.

Tonight, a couple of 21st-century cheesemongers reveal they have sunk an astronomical sum of money into their new app, emotions run high as a hair technician tangles with the fearsome five, a Scottish entrepreneur presents a pint-sized gadget that he hopes will be big business, and a robotic invention sends the Dragons into a virtual world.

About Dragons’ Den

Budding entrepreneurs get three minutes to pitch their business ideas to five multimillionaires who are willing to invest their own cash to kick-start the businesses in the original “Shark Tank.” After each pitch, the Dragons have the opportunity to ask questions about the venture. The entrepreneurs don’t always have to answer, but of course what they choose not to address could very well affect the outcome. The pitch is over when each of the Dragons has declared,”I’m out.” Evan Davis hosts.

This show is broadcast on BBC Two, also known as the British Broadcasting Corporation.
