Forensics: The Real CSI – 6 July 2021 – 6/7/2021 – Tuesday – BBC Two

Fatal Weapon Unknown
Series 2 Episode 4 of 10

Police respond to a call from a residential area of Dudley, where a woman reports that a house is being smashed up and a group are beating someone up outside it.

When the forensic team from West Midlands Police arrive shortly afterwards, the attackers have fled. They find the body of a young man and a complex crime scene with evidence that a series of violent incidents have taken place over several hundred yards. After tracing nearby tyre tracks, police discover another house that turns out to be a cannabis factory.

Soon afterwards, a second man, brought to hospital from the crime scene, is declared dead. And when detectives discover that one of the victims is part of a family seen defending the cannabis crop, they must undertake a detailed forensic investigation to piece together a full picture of what went on, who was targeted by whom and who is responsible for killing the two men.
