It’s fall at Hampton Court, and Chief Curator Tracy Borman receives an unexpected call from Paul Fitzsimmons just before the palace opens to the public. Paul specialises in Tudor antiquities, and he’s acquired a number of them at auction on the spur of the moment. Despite the fact that he paid only £75 for it, he believes it might be a unique treasure that formerly belonged to Henry VIII’s second wife, Anne Boleyn.
