Heathrow: Inside Britain’s Busiest Airport – 16 September 2020 – 16/9/2020 – Wednesday – ITV

In 2019, the airport is having its busiest year ever, and are expecting more than 81 million passengers to fly in and out of the terminals, with its 76,000 staff ready to take on whatever is thrown at them.

This week at Britain’s biggest front door tonight, Border Force Kat is deciding whether to allow a holiday-maker arriving with little money in and a confusing story into the UK. Meanwhile in Terminal 3 we’re back with the meticulous Customer Service Agent Mr Sho, who is having issues with a 400-year-old Japanese tradition.

Cameras capture the busy airport in action, as staff from all departments work together to keep operations running smoothly. Because thousands of passengers fly to and from the airport every day, strict management is required to ensure safety measures are in place and there are no delays. Episodes follow the staff as they deal with missing passengers, questionable luggage and wild animals.
