Heathrow: Inside Britain’s Busiest Airport – 6 October 2021 – 6/10/2021 – ITV

Series 7 – Episode 9 – It’s been 13 years since Air Force 1 touched down at Heathrow, Britain’s Busiest Airport; back then 40,000 passengers were disrupted and they discussed the matter in parliament.

Tonight, although there may be fewer passengers disrupted by the visit, it’s still a huge deal logistically that Heathrow will be welcoming the President of the United States.

America is soon to open up to British holiday makers, but it’s Americans returning home that security officer Estafania is meeting, as she scrutinises the contents of their hand luggage as well as their face masks.

Meanwhile, out on the apron, Airside Ian has his hands full, literally, with his marshalling bats confronting new aircraft arriving onto his turf, one of which is heading into trouble.
