Long Lost Family – 15 August 2021 – 15/8/2021 – Sunday – ITV

Episode 6

Episode 6 features two heart-breaking stories of separation; a man whose only memento of his birth family is an old newspaper article which describes them being evicted from their home and living in a squat; and a mother searching for her only child, who she hasn’t seen since he was 10 days old. Both turn to Long Lost Family for help …

Forty-six-year-old Leon Parton lives in Bebington, Wirral with his partner Rachel and her two children, Oliver and Evie. Leon was adopted as a baby and, though he was fond of his adoptive mother and siblings, he had a very difficult childhood.

When he was 11 years old, Leon’s adoptive mother showed him a newspaper clipping she’d kept since he was a baby. The article described Leon’s birth mother, Ute Daniels, and his three siblings being evicted from their family home and having to squat.

What became of Leon’s birth family is a mystery he is now determined to solve, turning to Long Lost Family for help.
