Long Lost Family: What Happened Next 8 August 2022: Season 7 Episode 1 on ITV 11

This week, we catch up with three searchers who came to us desperate to find their parents.

Before John Hacking was reunited with his birth mother Maureen, he’d spent nearly 50 years without her in his life. But he wasn’t the only one. Maureen herself grew up in care, and finally meeting her son started a whole new journey to find her birth family.

Pearse Egan met his father in 2018, but meeting Eddie hasn’t been the end of the story. Now Pearse is being visited by Eddie’s other son – Pearse’s older brother Nick – in London for the first time.

Our final story follows sisters Anne Jordan and Flo Banfield who first met in 2019. Having both grown up without their birth mother, they’ve spent the last two years on a mission to reconnect with the maternal side of their family.
