FOX Renews Hit Cooking Competition “MasterChef” for 14th Season

FOX, the iconic American television network, has confirmed the renewal of its acclaimed cooking competition series, “MasterChef,” for its highly anticipated 14th season. This announcement comes as the show is on the brink of reaching its remarkable milestone of 250 episodes. The show’s enduring popularity is attributed to the dynamic trio of judges, including the renowned chef and executive producer Gordon Ramsay, esteemed chef Aarón Sánchez, and distinguished restaurateur Joe Bastianich.

“MasterChef” has established itself as a beloved staple of the FOX brand, showcasing its strength, uniqueness, and long-lasting appeal. The success of the ongoing season and the imminent celebration of the 250th episode showcase the series’ enduring popularity and impact. In the current summer season, “MasterChef” has been averaging an impressive 3.1 million total viewers in the Live + 7 Day metric, earning the title of Wednesday’s #1 entertainment program in the crucial Adults 18-49 demographic. Additionally, the show has secured its spot as the leading cooking show of Summer 2023 among both Adults 18-49 and Total Viewers across both broadcast and cable platforms. Demonstrating significant growth, “MasterChef” boasts an average of 4.6 million total multiplatform viewers, marking a substantial increase of 118% from its Live + Same Day delivery. This achievement makes it the highest-ranking multiplatform audience among all FOX series of Summer 2023.

As the current 13th season unfolds, titled “MasterChef: United Tastes of America,” Gordon Ramsay, Aarón Sánchez, and Joe Bastianich lead the charge as they judge a fierce cook-off among top home cooks from four distinct regions of America. Contestants face a range of culinary challenges, including a State Fair showdown, iconic Mystery Box challenges, and even the exhilarating Tag Team event where they must create a Michelin-star quality three-course meal. With a cash prize of $250,000 and the esteemed title of America’s MasterChef on the line, the stakes are higher than ever.
