About Mastermind

The long-running quiz show has as its distinct prop an ominous black chair, where contestants sit and face a series of challenging questions, interrogation-style. Four contestants begin the programme, and the questions are based on both a specialised subject of their choice and a random subject. After two rounds, and a tiebreaker if needed, the player with the most points wins.

This show is broadcast on BBC, also known as the British Broadcasting Corporation.
