There’s a storm blowing in Finglas and it soon claims its first victim when the pipes in Winnie and Sharon’s house burst. Thank goodness therefore for Mrs Brown who is on hand to offer a roof over their heads while repairs are carried out. It’s not long before there’s a storm brewing insde the Brown household too. Agnes and Cathy discover living with best friends isn’t the picnic they’d imagined. And Agnes has yet more on her plate when she receives the news of the death of Nelly Scullie, a neighbour she never really knew – or even liked – and is asked by Father Damian to do her eulogy. Plus, there’s Bono’s thirteenth birthday to host. It might all seem too much for Agnes and then Buster drops a bombshell!

Based on the popular theater show and book series, “Mrs. Brown’s Boys” starring Brendan O’Carroll follows the life and antics of Agnes Brown, a Dublin matriarch who interferes in the lives of her friends and family members. Brown’s six children include eldest son, Mark, who has been running the family since his father died when Mark was a young boy. Brown faces family troubles and attempts to fix everyone’s problems, even going as far as joining a counseling session to find out what secrets her family is keeping from her.
