About The Chernobyl Disaster
This show is broadcast on Channel 5.
The programme is barely watchable due to Fogle’s embarrassing pronunciation of the word “nuclear”. Why oh why does he insist on pronouncing it as NU-QUEUE-LEAR? The suspense is unbearable because you just know within the next few minutes at any point in the programme that he’s going to do it again.
Didn’t anyone on the production team take him to one side?
“Listen, Ben, the word nuclear is going to be used an awful lot in this programme. Here’s a handy hint, Just say NEW then CLEAR. It’s not hard.”
