The Greatest Dancer – 22 February 2020 – 22/2/2020 – February 22 – Saturday – BBC

Season 2, Episode 8
The exhilarating live shows continue, and the pressure is building as only seven acts are left in competition. Tonight’s challenge theme, dance fusion, will push the acts to their limits as they are all given a dance style that they must fuse with their own to create a completely unique performance. Can contemporary dancers take on tap? Can street dancers embrace Bollywood? The live studio audience still vote on whether they like the performances or not, but it’s all down to the viewers at home to decide who will dance again next week, as only their votes will determine which six acts make it through to the semi-final, and which act must go home. All this, plus another world-class guest artist performs a unique collaboration

About The Greatest Dancer

Hosted by former `Strictly Come Dancing’ champion and former judge Alesha Dixon and Diversity member Jordan Banjo, this series sees dancers of all ages and styles competing for the chance to perform on `Strictly Come Dancing’, as well as the prize of £50,000. Dancers try their hardest to impress at auditions where the audience vote on the performances, and if 75 per cent of the crowd give the thumbs up then the dancers progress to the next round. Superstar dance captains are on hand to guide the contestants, with singer Cheryl, Broadway star Matthew Morrison, and `Strictly’ star Oti Mabuse all lending their expertise.

This show is broadcast on BBC, also known as the British Broadcasting Corporation.
