Walking Britain’s Lost Railways 19 November 2021: Friday on Channel 5

Northern Ireland  – Rob Bell investigates Northern Ireland’s forgotten railways, beginning in Belfast, where they aided in the development of a metropolis and a world-renowned shipbuilding centre. Rob’s railway journey takes him from the Irish Sea to the Atlantic coast, and on a visit to Armagh, he hears of a push to rebuild the Belfast-Armagh link and sees the site of the Armagh railway accident, which was a watershed event for railway safety.
