I am a married woman of 65 years old who has had one child 33 years ago. I lost all interest in sex long ago but just before covid hit us Ii was and still am experiencing unwanted pulsating arousal feelings at the opening of my vagina. I went to the doctor very reluctantly ( totally embarassing) to ask about this and what treatment is available. She gave me a script for 100mg of Gabapentin as she thought it could be nerve congestion and sent a referral letter off last September for me to see a Gynacologist but I am still waiting for an appt. This feeling is down there all day and night. I only get a sleep if I take a sleeping tablet and 4 Gabapentin . Please help me with some advice as I am at the end of my tether. I find this feeling unbearable and exhausting.
