Season 1 Episode 3 Information
Pip is devastated after being denied entry to Satis House and is discovered in a sorry state by Mr Jaggers, who informs him that he has been sent by Miss Havisham and Miss Estella. Estella, in fact, does not want Pip to go with Mr Jaggers, but Pip is unaware of this and is instead wowed by Jaggers’ worldly presence and the offer he makes: a cheque for £5,000, a flat in London, and a position in his legal chambers.
