Season 9 Episode 5 Information
It’s Art Week, and the remaining sewers must complete three art-inspired challenges. Sara first reveals that they must create a skirt inspired by the modernist movement. Appliqueing abstract shapes and constructing a sash fashioned in a huge, Esme-pleasing bow are among the techniques used. In the Transformation Challenge, sewers are tasked with transforming large canvases painted by local art students into garments that make ingenious use of the sculptural fabric and the painted artwork.
