Fast forward 34 years, and the unsolvable case found a new glimmer of hope through the determined efforts of investigative genetic genealogist Gabriella Vargas. Armed with advancements in technology, Vargas embarked on a mission to uncover the truth behind Roxanne Wood’s tragic death. A team consisting of an undercover police officer and a single cigarette butt would play crucial roles in breathing new life into the investigation.
