48 Hours August 19 2023 10PM: “What Angelina Saw”

Angelina Fernandes will never forget the chaotic scene at her home on the night of May 7, 2014, when she was just 11 years old. She woke up and saw neighbors trying to save the life of Andrew Wagner, the fiancé of her mother, Stephanie. Wagner later died from a knife wound to his neck. Angelina’s mother was charged with murder. Both women talk with 48 HOURS correspondent Peter Van Sant and describe what they say was Stephanie Fernandes’ complicated and volatile relationship with Wagner in an encore of “What Angelina Saw,” to be broadcast Saturday, Aug. 19 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+.
