Fairfield General Hospital has been alerted to a probable outbreak of the highly infectious Middle East respiratory disease (MERS). While the hazardous area response team prepares to transport the patient to North Manchester General Hospital’s infectious disease section, senior paramedic Claire is despatched to mediate between the hospital and the ambulance service.
