Season 1 Episode 1 Information

Katya Adler explores how life is changing for individuals living on Russia’s border, as well as the effects of Putin’s war on the west, in this two-part documentary.

On a road trip north from Poland, she encounters an area still reeling from the legacy of the Soviet Union, where the war in Ukraine has resurrected old scars. But she also finds those who are fighting back in whatever way they can, from those travelling to Ukraine to fight on the front lines to those building fortified ambulances in their garage.
