A former professional goalie enters the barn, bringing a football programme from a historic match he played in 1970. Peter Grotier was a member of the West Ham team that travelled to New York shortly after Brazil won the World Cup to play an exhibition game against Santos. Not only was Peter’s hero, Sir Bobby Moore, in his squad, but they were also playing against his other hero, Pele. Peter didn’t even mind allowing two goals!
